Sonic Reality/IK Multimedia Group Buy (8 for 1!)

When you click on User Area on http://www.ikmultimedia.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; it takes you to a place with a list of your personal stuff: Accounts, Authorizations, Downloads, etc. That page is where you would click on Promotions in order to download 7 of your packs. But there should also be a Red Letter heading that reads Multibox in that list if you haven't claimed it yet. That Multibox is technicially the main pack that you paid for, and the other 7 under Promotions are the freebies.

If you claimed the Multibox, the option will disappear the next time you visit that page. If you didn't claim it and it is not there, then I would fire a quick message to IK Tech Support and they will fix this for you.

So, just to be clear, are you saying that we should have SampleTank, and 8 sound downloads? Or 7 sound downloads. Right from the start, it never looked right, and I always thought one file was missing. (My user area only shows 7 files, and no multibox.)

It is SampleTank and 8 library downloads (which you select), plus a 9th library (1GB assortment from several different libraries). And even more if you ordered via eSoundz.

IK is being very good about fixing issues, so by all means write them.

HOWEVER... if you haven't already downloaded all the packs available in the Promotions, just continue doing that first. I also had an issue where it looked like I had one less download than I should. After I downloaded a few of the available ones, the missing one suddenly appeared (and I think it was the Multibox). So download all the ones that you can, and if the other doesn't show up contact IK.

how do you apply IK jam points to the order?I tried pasting the Jam Points generated code to the order on the IK site (the promotional code box)
this doesn't do it, how do you redeem?

You paste the generated code into the appropriate box during check out. You will have an opportunity to enter it and modify the total before you finish the process.

Did they shut this down or giving us until tonight at midnight? I came close to ordering last night because it's a great deal, but I already cherry-picked my favs, so I'm not sure I want to get more just to be a "collector"... Hmmmm... And I just dropped the dough for the Komplete 6 upgrade.

it gave me the choice of just 1

James the promotion seems to end today,with a grace period of some sort giving another extension,I am having a drummers moment here....

You have until the 15th to order and get your new ST registration in, and thus get the 8x1 libraries. That's the grace period.

You have to register that copy of ST using the serial number that IK sends to you. Then you find your libraries in your user area under Multibox and Promotions.

So, I'm confused about this. I bought in thru IK Multimedia not thru EZ Sounds. There is nothing showing up yet in my EZ Sounds acct (I'm a member as I bought the T-Racks deal last year). Does this mean the Bonus Library is NOT available to me as I bought from IK.

Just a bit confused about the whole thing....

Thank you all for the heads up. It is great that we all communicate and figure things out together. This forum can truly be a blessing sometimes.
Esounz and IK are two of the most inane companies in the world when it comes to their organization. The complexity and confusion that one encounters when trying to take advantage of an offer from esounds is mind boggling. It's like being in the effing CIA sometimes to figure out where to get the sounds, the codes, the authorization upon authorization, the partial dowloads followed by more downloads just to get the "sounds"..ay yi yi..all while bouncing around in multiple windows.

This piece of info about the bonus sounds if a welcome relief..
