DP7 - Cannot load projects/quit/ or use any menu RESOLVED

Hello everyone,

I cannot get DP7 to work on my Macbook Pro 10.6.3. I have DP 6.03 working perfectly, and all other previous versions have worked perfectly. After installing DP7, I open the application, but nothing works. I click on File>New and it blinks like it wants to work, but nothing happens. I attempt to load an old session, and nothing happens.

I have done all the tricks I know. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Cleaned permissions. Uninstalled previous versions. Dump the plist. Installed all the updates. And no response. It installed perfectly fine on my G5.

The only thing that works in the menu is Preferences, but that does me no good.

Keyboard shortcuts to access these commands also do not work.

I know there is not a huge difference between this version and 6.03, but it seems like a big waste of money if I cannot get it to work.

Any ideas?

After a long night of struggling with this, I got it to work. Here's what I did.

Repaired Disk Permissions

Uninstalled DP 6 & 6.03

Searched the finder for invisible item named "Auth Digital Performer 6" and Auth Digital
Performer 7" and trashed them (there has to be at least one other item in the trash with these files to be able to empty the trash).

Re-Auth'd DP7

Can't see why it won't continue to work. Things would be crazy around here if the problem you described was happening to a significant number of users.
