green marker dissaperaing...
i don't know how i did this...but when my session is not playing, the green line marker disappears. how do i get it to stay on when the session is both, stopped and playing?
macbook 2.2GHz with 1 GB RAM running osx 10.5.8, mac pro 2 x 2.66 GHz dual-Core Intel Xeon with 2 gigs of ram running osx 10.4.11, DP 7.01, Motu 896 (1st generation), API A2D, Isochrone OCX, UAD

Disengage the Link Playback to Memory button in the Transport window (under the Rewind button)

problem solved! thank you. i've been using dp for a few years now, and every once and a while i'll mash the keyboard on accident and trigger some inconvenient quirk.
imagine how i felt the first time i accidentally turned off all the view filters! haha.

You're not a qualified DP user until you've lost your sequence to the View Filter!dustcoversmyheels wrote: imagine how i felt the first time i accidentally turned off all the view filters! haha.
By the way, the green thing is called the Cursor, or Wiper.
