DP6 ( or 7 ) and AUTOTUNE 5 ( or EVO ) always crashes
Hi, I'm in a nightmare since weeks cause after many tries i discovered that Autotune 5 or EVO causes crashes ( playback stops randomly after 4 or 5 hours of work and DP freeze ).
I setted pref audio plugins in "all plugins in realtime" but nothing happened.
Any help?
PowerPC G5 Dual 2 GHz, 4.5 ddr2, 750gb sata disk, DP 6.03 and DP 7.12 ( 1024 buffer size, medium priority) , Apogee ensemble, OSX 10.5.8, UAD-2,

Make sure that you have downloaded the latest version from Antares. I don't have any problems at all.

I am using AT Evo (And AT4) without trouble. I have a PPC, but am running under OS 10.4.11.

DP has a way better pitch manipulation tools built in. That effect though has run it's course a bit too long IMO.

Re: DP6 ( or 7 ) and AUTOTUNE 5 ( or EVO ) always crashes
Thx i know, but i spent 300 euro to buy autotune cause sometimes its better for my experience...today i noticed that crashes occures often after 5 hours of work, and it's a very strange crash cause playback in audio perfomance becomes red, performer continue to play but i listen only 2 or 3 tracks, after 5 minutes crashes at all.

AT5 and Evo are working fine here.
I remember having a problem with my old system where I would have to close the AT window when I wasn't needing it to make adjustments.
Just having it open would create instability.
Probably not a solution, but I'm curious.

No one knows if and when I use it... unless I want them to. "That effect" will be with us from now on, my friend, like it or not, although I am sure the current obnoxious overuse will subside very soon.newrigel wrote:DP has a way better pitch manipulation tools built in. I like the way DP tunes better, but it can have grainy artifacts on certain timbres.newrigel wrote:DP has a way better pitch manipulation tools built in. That effect though has run it's course a bit too long IMO.
