East West plugin not showing
I installed east west quantum leap symphonic orchestra gold play edition. It works fine as a standalone. But DP doesn't see it. If I go in add instrument track, it just isn't there. Should I add manually some sort of alias in some sort of directory ? I'm new to DP and don't really know how plugins are managed in it.

Hey,
I have the EW Play Plat. Orch.
When you installed play, it should have put an AU plug called "Play.component" in the folder: Library>Audio>Plug-Ins>Components>
If its not there, you can't open it up as a VI in DP.
If it is there, check the Audio Plug in Pref's dialogue to see if DP recognizes it, and to see if its enabled.
If you need to "rescan" the components folder, go to:
Users>"your account name">Library>Prefs>Digital Performer.
Put the Audio Unit Info Cache into the trash (don't empty in case you need later),
reboot DP. Hopefully it will show up.
Some additional info would be helpful from your end:
System specs, version of DP, etc. Lots of users attach a signature to their posts, as it often helps find a solution (and there are TONS of folks around this board that are really helpful and know a great deal more than I)
