I am about to take delivery of a Powercore 6000, but fear that I just made a big mistake after researching known issues with this unit. I miss the System 6000 I had access to at my old studio but cannot afford, so I went with the Powercore version. Is anyone out there running this with DP and can you give a report?
I am planning on running it on a separate PCI Firewire express card for my MacBook Pro so it does not interfere with my motu FW device (896 HD) or the audio drives.
Hopefully this will start a positive response and I can rest easily while the box is in shipment.
Cheers.

Re: TC Powercore 6000 & DP
Do understand that the Snow Leopard drivers are still in the beta stage and there are problems. Things were supposed to go to final release of the drivers before the end of 2009 but that's long gone. Maybe you can return the 6000 and get the UAD card that plugs into your Cardbus slot.
