route Mac System Audio to multiple outs UltraLite mk3 Hybrid
Is it possible to route the Mac System Audio to multiple outputs on the UltraLite mk3 Hybrid? I can't figure out how to get my Mac default audio (for iTunes and other audio playback programs) to go out on both the Headphones mix and Main Outputs mix. I was hoping the CueMix FX software would have another input channel called "System Audio" or something like that so you could mix it into the different output mixes.

Yes, you do this two ways in MacOSX 10.6.

If this is like other MOTU units, you can set the phones output pair in MOTU Firewire Console. You should also be able to dial it in from the front of the unit.

1. Go to: System Preference - Hardware -Sound click Output tab and choose your audio device.
2. Go to: Application folder/Utilities folder/AudioMidi application - Under Audio Device and choose your sound device.
The default MOTU audio setup should be fine for basic Main and (head)Phone output.
Hope this help...

Yes, you...the MKIII devices are different... the cueFXmix software can take a little time to get familiar with.

I meant simultaneously. I can get the Mac system audio to route to either the Main out or Headphone out but I can't figure out how to have it go to both simultaneously. Any ideas?
