Hello,
My windows 7 very often freezes (completely, hard reset necessary) after I go from 96khz to 44.1khz and start playing something. And there's no audio playback @ anything above 44.1khz (mp3 or stuff like that in Windows) when I'm in Ableton though, producing, it has no problem running 96khz, otherwise it just gives me an error.
Anyone have any ideas?
(I also have an ASUS Xonar D2 in a PCI slot, but it is disabled from control panel - sound)
Thank you

Re: Issues with Win 7 x64
My freezing occurs randomly after time. I haven't tried changing the sample rate, but after several hours of using my PC, it'll just lock up requiring a hard reboot.
It's a shame 'cause I used to run XP64, and short of the odd sound dropout, it was completely stable. In preparation for Adobe CS5 I upgraded to 7, and for the most part I like it, but I miss having a stable machine.
I can make my PC freeze too if pull the firewire cable. Maybe that's a feature?
