Playing with 7.1 for about an hour under 10.6.3 ..... no probs so far.
DP 8.07 64 bit, OS 10.10.5, Mac Pro 5,1 12-core 3.33ghz, 16GB ram, lots 'o plugs and VIs

Seems okay so far ... isn't there some AU/audio-specific enhancements in this update? Or is it just for Logic and GarageBand only? So long as it doesn't make anything worse ...

I received 10.6 upgrade this morning. I did a clean installation, then software update ran and downloaded 10.6.3 and so far so good. Actually everything is much snappier.
iMac9,1, 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 8GB-RAM, 10.9.5
DP 8.07, 828MKIII, Keys-Fantom X8, XV-88. Key
SampleTank v2.5.4, Miroslav Philharmonik v1.1.2, SampleMoog v1.02, SampleTron v1.02, Sonik Synth 2 v2.1.1, Independence Pro v3.2.0126, EZDrummer 1.4, MDrummer Large 5.02, Komplete U9, Orchestral Essential 1, Orchestral Essential 2, Complete Orchestral Collection

So far so good here. The only questions I have pertain to those VIs and plugins which weren't entirely compatible with Snow Leopard in the first place... but I've avoided those today.

More testing with third parties in progress...

Installed it on my "Test" partition. Everything seems to be working fine. I don't see any differences in performance or otherwise. I guess that can be considered a good thing. 8)

I just installed it and it works
A 2018 Mac mini with 16 gb of ram
HUGE bunch o' AU instruments/fx...
A Metric Halo ULN8-3D…mmmmmmm

Since I installed it, I've been occasionally having weirdness in the Finder during Quicklook, especially with movies and audio files.
