Deleting a Folder from Favorites

Post by scooter »

I notice UVISoundbanks doesn't come with a "remove from list" button. I can't even get anything in that folder to even function with MACH5, so why would I want to save it as a Favorite?? Anyhow, how do I remove it from my favorites list?

thanks,

Got a reply from a source at MOTU:
The built-in favorites — EXS Instruments, UVISoundBanks, and a few others — are always there and don't have "Remove from Favorites" buttons. The "Remove" button shows up on folders that the user has added to the list. New UVI products such as UVI WS let you remove the default favorite folders via a contextual menu (though the removed folders currently return on the next launch; hopefully they'll address this in a future release).
Hope that helps. I'm using aliases to point UVI instruments to the libraries after I moved them.
