The deal actually includes a serial number for Kontakt Player 3, so you're good there. You don't need another player. Actually I wouldn't have minded having Player as well, but the installer wouldn't let me install because it detected that I had the full version of Kontakt 3.5 already. (I got it when I got the crazy deal on Komplete 5)Kellog wrote:I'm interested in this deal. Will it include the SSD player or do I need a version of Kontakt? Will these sounds work in Stylus rmx or Drumcore maybe? Thanks
Steven Slate Drums EX as AudioMIDI no-brainer deal at $20

Same here, it was actually kind of surprising. I don't really care that much, they probably have some good reason for it, stability and such. I can't think of any evil reason they would do that.James Steele wrote:...Actually I wouldn't have minded having Player as well, but the installer wouldn't let me install because it detected that I had the full version of Kontakt 3.5 already. Well I don't think it's anything evil either. Just thought perhaps player might be more efficient or less RAM-- who knows? I hadn't tried but I could always try to pull Kontakt temporarily out of the Components folder and run the Player installer again.bongo_x wrote: Same here, it was actually kind of surprising. I vaguely remember hearing that player and full Kontakt were the same only you have to unlock the player functionality. Not sure if that's true or not.
