I upgraded my OS from 10.4.11 to Snow Leopard 10.6.2, when I plug the Ultralite into the FW 400 port, the Ultralite shuts DOWN!!! This is bad.
I've seen many posts about the firewire ports behaving badly under SnowLeopard, I've been able to get all my external HardDrives going... so the ports (400+800) seems to be working... something is shutting my Ultralite off.
Before I pull the trigger and either buy some new audio box or revert back to OSX 10.4.11 (which worked fine) , it would be great to hear anyone's ideas or experiences. I've looked all over the web for solutions... something... I've not found a similar problem posted
Firmware 1.5... I've tried the newest driver and the previous driver..
I've had it working for about a minute, then it shuts down.
I have to unplug both the power supply and fw cable to turn the ultralite back on.
Tried 32 and 64 bit kernals
I switched to SL so that I can buy the Kontakt 4 upgrade.
I really like my Ultralite.
