Digging it big time, Andy. If I might suggest, in the Track Overview it might be cool to lose the outline and 3D appearance of the track enable, play, rec buttons, etc. for a truly 2D sort of look.

I also think I'm going to mod my send knobs and the level meters to be a blue color (either the stock DP level meter blue or the teal that the window scroll bars are in the Sharp mod). Again though man... looks cool! :D

+1 to everything James suggested. I vote that you try and make the interface as flat a possible and let the color tell the story.

This is a really good experiment for me. Although I'm not sure I'd work in this vibe, it's good to see what works and what doesn't.

I think it looks pretty cool! Only thing I'd do differently is make the mixing board not so dark... more like the Channel Strip colors basically. But it is indeed a nice thing! :)

Must say I was using Sharp last night and I really think I am zeroing in on my ideal look. Here's some things that have helped as well:

1) Set the overall OSX look to graphite
2) Chose MOTU's "Pastel2" for my color scheme
3) Set the color pref to use track color for waveform background (waveforms always black with Pastel2 scheme)

Tweaks I've made:

1) Changing level meter color to a bright teal like the scroll bar.

Planned tweaks:

1) Using bluish send knobs versus green
2) Changing used FX inserts from yellow color to something of a cooler color like a muted lavender/blue/etc.

But awesome stuff Andy! I'm starting to feel at home now. :)

OMG Andy... that is so awesome! And you polished the Shortcut and Tools buttons! Yowza!!! That's tool cool! (FYI, your splash screen still says v.1) LOL... dude that is so cool. I'm loving it. I know it's deeply personal thing... a GUI... but I am finding home!

Hey Andy
I'm digging the work as usual. I've been parked on Night Green for quite a while but you got me into this sharp thingy. One only thing;
Is there a reason you don't have the disapearing fader on soloed tracks anymore?

It was a great feature IMHO.

Still drooling on this screen shot, Andy! The lavender for the active inserts looks awesome!

Sharp 7.1v3 available. Great suggestions by James, and an idea from Shooshie.

The little details on the window buttons. He actually made a version and I adapted the idea.

It fades out quit a bit, doesn't it? Maybe more transparency is needed...
