Screen video recording with stereo audio

Screen video recording with stereo audio
I'm looking for an app that can record my screen video and audio of any interface connected to the mac just like QT 10.
Only, QT10 records mono audio. I'm looking for Stereo audio. and better quality than 128 kbps aac that QT offers.
Thanks

Re: Screen video recording with stereo audio
.
If by "your screen video" you mean you can record whatever happens in your screen, have a look at Snapz Pro.
I think you have many options for the audio, including sounds from the microphone or from whatever happens in the system.

Re: Screen video recording with stereo audio
Thanks. I have Spanz Pro, it can only record from the mac's audio, that means for instance, if I want it to capture what ever I do in dp, I will have to set my audio out's in dp to built in mac outputs, then i will not here my music through my main system and speakers.
I need the video/audio recording software to 'see' my audio interface (2408) and grab the 'stereo' audio from there.

Re: Screen video recording with stereo audio
Try this:
First go to:
Setup>Configure Audio System>Configure Hardware Driver
and Cmd Click on your interface and Built-In Output
Instead of routing all your DP tracks to your interface, route them to an Aux track. Set this Aux track's output to your interface, and then use a send from this Aux to Built-in Audio.
Then Snapz Pro should be able to record the Mac audio
Hope this works
Cheers

Re: Screen video recording with stereo audio
Actually, if your System sound is set to your interface, Snapz Pro will record anyway without going to the lengths of my above post!!
Just checked both methods and they do work.
Cheers
Stephen
PS remember to check Include audio track when saving from Snapz Pro

This method I know and I used it but it's too a long procedure.stephentayler wrote:Try this:

REGARDING OPTION 2:chaim wrote:This method I know and I used it but it's too a long procedure.
Well, then you may have no choice to but to go with the first option if you want to get something working.chaim wrote:No. I wish this would work but it does not by me.

Re: Screen video recording with stereo audio
Snapz Pro will record anything on the screen... audio or video. You must not be checking the audio boxes. It's very simple, just launch and record. Done. I'm using a FW Apogee Duet and a USB Apogee and both work fine... You have something going on deeper in core audio because SP records CA.
Re: Screen video recording with stereo audio
I need to be able to tell snapz to fetch the audio from my sound card.
The input to snapz should be what's coming out of my 2408 (with out going in circles)

You need to set your macs audio to the interface so CA will use it for the macs sound then SP will hear it.chaim wrote:I need to be able to tell snapz to fetch the audio from my sound card.
