can't access plugins

Hello,
I recently had to do a complete erase and restore on my computer. After reinstalling DP, I can get all of the functions to operate, but can't get my plugins to show up through the mixer inserts. How can I fix this? Thank you in advance. MIK

1. When you reinstalled DP did you install from disc AND did all the updates in sequential order? Example: DP5.0 from disc followed by DP 5.01, 5.02, 5.1, 5.12, and 5.13.

2. Are the MAS plugins and VIs available and selectable?

3. Did you complete reinstalling and re-authorizing all of your third-party Audio Units plugins and VIs?

4. Did those AUs pass the Audio Units inspection when you rebooted the newly re-installed DP?

5. Did you repair permissions? If you have any external hard drives with VI sound libraries installed on them, make sure they are running and successfully mounted before repairing permissions.

If you have tried all of this with apparent success and are still having issues with plugins/VIs, try another uninstall and reinstall of DP. Sometimes the installer can misfire.
