opening DP projects on other machines

i now run DP on a desktop and a laptop. both machines have the same
versions of DP, reaktor, and all the other plug ins. they are
networked via wormhole over gigabit.

for the first time i tried opening a DP project i created on the
laptop on the desktop. i simply opened the file as i would any other file (via the network), and of course it opened right up. but none of
the VIs appeared. again, the same plug ins exist on both machines.

so why wouldn't machine #2 instantiate the VIs/plug ins created in a
project on machine #1? i also tried copying the project to machine #2 but it did the same thing (or should i say *didn't* do the same thing...).

hmmmmm...this works fine now. amazing what a little repair permissions action will do for ya.
