I´m really exited about DP7.02 and Amplidoods GUI GOLD mod.
I recently upgraded from DP 5.13 and got very dissapointed with the original DP7 GUI.
But the AmpGUI7 mods made me stay in DP7 from day one and made me forget all about DP 5.13.
Today I feel, compaired to DP7, DP5.13 seems suddenly so limited.

DP7.02 is rocking on my system. Got some MAS errors in the beginning but this is okay now and everything feels solid. I have been using DP7.02 for >10 hrs a day in 3 days now. Running it with plenty of plug ins, doing a lot of editing, mixing, bouncing, recording, I have been stressing DP7 a lot. Only one crash on a program start up and the fact the Schwa SchOPE plug doesn´t work, so I unabled it.
If DP7.02 would be an airoplain I´d dear to fly it intercontinental :D

Just wanted to resurrect this in case anyone is still sitting on the fence! I just upgraded to DP 7.02 and ok, it's been less than 24 hours but it's beautiful so far!
I went from 5.13 and on my limited machine 7 is performing better than 5.13.
A few minor bugs I had with 5 seem to have vanished and VI's are working better.
My last big project opened and played perfectly.
I'm on a single core G5 and it's pretty amazing that jumping from DP 5 to 7 did not require a new computer considering all the mac processor advancements.
I don't even find the GUI too bright!
I'm going to hold off on upgrading to 7.1 since it may tax my system and I can't really see any must-have features.
I even gained a tuner in 7.02 as a free AU tuner which did not work in 5 has been resurrected in 7.
The only problem I have is losing the GUI on Stillwell Rocket compressor which I see is mentioned in another thread.
I know it's been said before but 7 is probably the best update yet.

It's called Tuneit by Quyd software. I'm pretty sure it was recommended on this site. Works well now.
I just googled it however and couldn't find it.

 If you upgrade to DP 7.1 and return to DP 7.02 (without uninstalling DP7.1) you can use DPs new Tuner in DP 7.02 and all the new Amp presets too. I went back and use them in DP 7.02.

Nice tip, thanks. Did you notice any lag in performance after upgrading, then downgrading?
