DP7 not launching Core Audio with Digi003

Hi,

I am having this weird problems were when launching DP it won't automatically launch the Digi Core Audio and therefore it will start as MIDI only. Sometimes it helps to launch the Core Audio manually but not every time.
Sometime re-booting and turning everything off help but not always.
Any idea? Anybody else having the same problem?

I had so many annoying things happen while using the 003 with DP or just in general.
Just wasn't worth it for me. i went back to my MOTU 828mk2. Much better partnership.
With the 003 i found:The latency sucked, if it crashed, having to reboot and so on.

DP 7.02, OS 10.5.8, Mac Pro 8 core, Digi003

Andrea, Digi's CAM (Core Audio Manager) can be a bit "quirky" with non-Digidesign apps & products, but will generally (in the end) work.
First off, which version of CAM are you using? If you're on OX 10.5.8, it shouldn't be any higher than CAM 8.0.1cs2. Also, are you running ProTools (HD, LE or MP) just before running DP or anything else? Don't, if you are. CAM plays happiest with non-Digi if it hasn't seen an instance of PTools.
When I was on 10.5.8, I had good luck with CAM 8.0.1cs1&2 with my 002.
