MOTU 828 MKI error 22 and BSoD

I previously had my Motu 828 set-up in windows vista home premium 32bit with Sonar 8 PE, it worked fine once I set it up correctly.

Although since I upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate I have experienced some issues. I reinstalled the latest driver in the new operating system and once I had done the process in the correct order it worked in Sonar 8 PE.

Recently, in the last week, I have experienced a BSoD on a number of occasions (only when the Motu is connected, I think) with the message 'IRQ NOT LESS OR EQUAL TO". But the Motu still worked intermittently in Sonar 8. At the moment I can not get it work again and receive this error message when I load Sonar:

The driver has reported a Motu error 22
Called from file ..\..\Glue\ConfigClasses.cpp line 223
Driver file Error 22.\DriverHost.cpp 2457

Does anyone have any ideas on what is causing this issue and how it can be fixed?
