I purchased a number of EastWest Libraries this past December during their sale and I had little difficulty installing them and getting Play to work.

I do see some small glitches with the app (it needs to be updated), but my sounds come out and things are working well (Pianos is amazing, btw).

All I can say is much like other forum-style complaints, it's likely the EW ones are overblown in many instances.

I have grown not to like EW products - I own the plat plus symphonic library and MOR.

For me they are tedious to use. The orchestra sounds pretty big and full once you get it to sit right, but getting it there seems difficult for me. Too many velocity layers that don't smoothly match.

Sometimes I play the part, find the vel setting I like - and then set them all to that - and then even so, some still need to be tweaked.

I am in need of stuff - but I look to the kontakt libraries, VS and that company that makes - arg - what's the name - cool swingin brass - yeh MOJO BRASSS.

Notta bash.

I am just tired of it. i have never had problems with tech support or installations in the six years I have been using their stuff.
