Setting for playback when notes are written back to back?

Post by AnyaAKD »

I've recently upgraded to DP 7 from 5 and I'm having one last issue getting sessions to play the same as they did in 5. I may be forgetting a setting?

When I have notes written in an instrument back to back, like d for a full quarter, then immediately on the next quarter another d, the second d will not play. It will work if I shorten the 1st note just a bit, but I didn't have to do that before and this will cause playback issues in the majority of my old DP sessions when I open them in the new DP.

Am I forgetting a setting that I once configured in a long ago installation? Is this a new bug?

Please help!

I've experienced this same thing even from going from 5 to 6. I'm not sure why, but I have to do the same thing. If you want, you can select all and change the durations of the notes to 99%. But I usually go through each note in a line that I end up moving them all individually anyway as part of the MIDI editing.
