Recording live instruments is late

Post by revnice »

Hello all:

I have the older Traveler, not the mk3. Everything is fine until I record live instruments, then the clip appears late in Sonar 8.

Here's what I've tried so far:

* Run Sonar's Wave Profiler
* Tried analog and S/PDIF guitar processors
* Set the sync clock to Internal and S/PDIF as required
* Played around with latency slider and buffers in queue

Nothing changes anything. Recordings are about a 32nd late at 100bpm but the lateness amount isn't a musical increment.

System:
* Quad Core 3.33, 12 gig RAM, 3 terabyte SATA disks
* Sonar 8, Windows 7 x64

Thanks - rev

Should I use a shorter cable? :lol:
