So now you´re teasing us with these great new goodies in DP 7.02.
DP 7.1 is out now.. I resist the download untill you got the Gold Complete 1.3 GUI for 7.1 ready. You hear what I´m sayin´!?
Just can´t live with the Motu mods.

I wish I could say it wasn't a lot of work....but it is when dealing with this kind of upgrade. They've added new features which I've had no way to make happen, so I have to take advantage of that. Here's basically a breakdown of what has to happen...FMiguelez wrote:.
Just out of curiosity, Amplidood:
Do you have to do a lot of extra work in your mods every time MOTU releases a new version of DP?
I suppose you also need to update your website (same for iPerformer)
Hope not... otherwise keeping up with MOTU will be hard!![]()
It seems MOTU is on steroids lately, which is like TOTALLY GREAT!
Wow! That IS a lot of work!amplidood wrote: I may have to revisit that soon. I think it's fairly obvious that there's something worthwhile going on here.

1. Check and see if there are differences between my modded files and what's in the new upgrade.
2. Merge my mods with the new ones if there are differences, and make necessary changes or taking advantage of new features. This takes the most time, as I have to do it for every mod. I also have to decide how far backwards I want to make any changes available to users of older versions of DP.
3. Paste my parameter data into the new xml files, making sure parameters still match.
4. New schreenshots and graphics for the website.
5. Compile, compress, and upload new versions.
All said and done, with there being 17 different mods, I have to pick and choose my battles. Since I can't charge outright for the mods without going to battle with MOTU over the EULA, the time/return ratio indeed is lopsided. Donations are very much appreciated every time I receive them, and I've gotten some generous ones. But if I did a per hour breakdown....hhhooooo boy. Like I'm working in Mongolia.
I may have to revisit that soon. I think it's fairly obvious that there's something worthwhile going on here.
