TRUE Margrit's new album... ALL DP, All the time!

Post by ghobish »

Here's a link to the True Margrit musicstore- for convenience you can stream the whole album: http://musicstore.truemargrit.com/album ... s-progress

It was recorded, overdubbed, mixed and mastered in DP 5 and 6- tracking through Metric Halo and Digi HD converters using API, Neve, UA and Summit preamps, a nice selection of mics. All effects are in the box (except for some sidechain analog compression) and the lead vocals were mostly recorded M/S. The piano is a 9' Steinway from Germany.

The mixes were summed in a Metric Halo 2882-2d+dsp. I really feel it made a difference.

Please enjoy this, we're really proud of it!

Thanks so much, glad you like it! Please tell your friends. We're going on a SxSW tour starting next week; unfortunately we won't get as far east as Nashville (Margrit is originally from Knoxville) but if you have any friends along this tour route http://truemargrit.com/show-schedule.asp we'd really appreciate your passing the info along!
