Well it is time for me to finally upgrade from 5. I've been heavy on Logic and have recently been testing Cubase5 against it. I love both and am still looking for the best combination of the two. I haven't run DP in a couple years now and it looks like 7.1 is finally adding some of the things I've been waiting for.

My big thing is channel strip presets and I think that's what 7.1 is adding? Anyways I just placed the order! Looking forward to giving it a go again.

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but besides enjoying the nice improvements in 7.1, I also seem to have lost the ability to scroll up and down the record enable column with the up and down arrow keys. Perhaps it's because I haven't installed Snow Leopard yet? Or has anyone on SL noticed this too? (I've repaired permissions and re-started with no luck, and the Commands window tells me the up and down arrows are still assigned to the Rec Enable column, so they should be working).

Loving the extra efforts of Motu and the free upgrade, but thought people should be aware of this....

Looks like they finally added Nudge Up/Nudge Down commands in the edit windows. Maybe those commands are conflicting?

Yes, good point. Go to Commands and try to assign the Up arrow key to something and you will get an alert telling you what other commands are using it. Cancel out of that and go in and remove the Up/Down arrow from the conflicting commands.
