There is new Audio and MIDI driver software available on the MOTU website updated as of January 2010. Has this been posted and I missed it? If not, the info is posted now.

Some problems reported with the drivers posted at MOTU on Jan 4. It may be specific to the early 828, but I got errors with a 828 Mk3.

It caused kernel panics as soon as my original 828 is connected/turned on.
Tried to go back to 1.4.9 drivers but now it doesn't even see the interface. Buh hu!
EDIT: installing 1.4.21 solved the problem and now it works fine again.
