896mk3 - potential purchaser

Hi all,
I have shortlisted the 896mk3, TC Studio Konnekt 48 and the Presonus Firestudio to replace my Mackie 400f.
I would greatly appreciate any feedback about the 896. I am running a quad core P4, nVidia gfx card and a TI chipped firewire PCIe card/in-built on motherboard with Windows 7 32bit (for plug-in compatibility issues - also have XP if Win7 not there yet....)and Cubase5.
