New site is nearly here, just gotta wait for the domain name to kick in...
It's not going to be fancy, but I suppose it will be much easier for people to find.

Hey y'all,
I posted earlier that I copied "tempered" into DP 7.02 forgetting to make a duplicate. When I open it, it opens "night" for reasons I don't understand. I'm thinking I need the 7.02 original skin and start over again. Any ideas?

1. Reinstall DP7
2. Make a .zip of the app IMMEDIATELY (right click, Compress "Digital Perf...")
3. Duplicate the DP7 app each time you want to try a new mod
4. Apply the mod to the *duplicate* DP
If anything ever goes wrong you have a backup copy waiting for you right there in the .zip file.

Amplidood, would doing it this way be unadvisable?amplidood wrote:

I'm just substituting the English.Iproj folder each time I want a different mod. Very quick and convenient, and it only takes 20 something MBs...
Any caveats for doing it that way?

I don't think so, it's just not as simple as booting the copy with the mod you want. But hey, whatever works.FMiguelez wrote:I'm just substituting the English.Iproj folder each time I want a different mod. Very quick and convenient, and it only takes 20 something MBs...

Re: AmpGUI7 (always updating first post)
Excellent. I've been using iWeb for little pages about various things, and I'm blown away by how fast I can get one online, from idea to completion. (about 10 minutes for the most recent one, including taking the pictures) It's a nice system. Also, it's nice to read more about you. I didn't know you had a Grammy! (Two?) Well, whether or not it changed the color of your sky or size of your house, it is confirmation that you've done something well. But we knew that much; the mods show your taste and determination. (by the way, folks, these pages are full of Grammy winning or nominated folks... I keep telling ya that this is a special forum!)
It's nice to see all the mods together like that. Really helps to compare. I'm still enjoying Gold, Jade, and Night the most, but I think I'm going to try Sleek, too. Thanks for enriching us all with your efforts. May you be repaid in a more concrete way (hint, *coughDONATEcough* hint).

Nice site amplidood

I've just updated mine using RapidWeaver, it's a great app indeed.
Re: AmpGUI7 (now at AMPGUIMODS.COM)
I'll still be using this thread to communicate with all of you, and I'll keep the user list going. It's just cool knowing the people that are enjoying my work. I won't be doing email notifications anymore in the way I have been, however. I'll soon be adding Twitter updates and email notification abilities from the site itself.
Here's to the next step in the journey!!
