...
anyone using a mac having this same phenomena ?
http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtop ... 14&t=36607
this tread is in the windows part of this formum, but is in my opinion not a specific platform as the unit has the same problem when it is working standalone or in combination with my mac. therefore i like to tell it into the mac world too ...
i agree it is not much, using the TRAVELER MK3 for modern music will have no problems, but when you are into classical music of soundscape's you can hear it as the sound of an airco or a plane crossing high in the sky.
i have to use an external phantom power supply to ged rid of it.
anyone else ?

Re: phantom power noise & TRAVELER MK3
Thanks for posting this in the Mac section. I wouldn't have known about it otherwise.
That's too bad about the noise. Looks like there are some smart people investigating it. Hopefully one will come up with a simple mod that fixes it. Who wants to carry a phantom power unit with it's wall wart power supply?
Hopefully MOTU gets to work on it too. I do like their hardware overall and would like to get a Traveller someday. They seem like the most versatile of the MOTU interfaces. It's actually quite incredible what they pack in for $900.
