Loop in MachFive 2

Greetings all,
No my first post, but my first re: MF2.
I would like to create a simple loop on a small audio sample, but the manual is not very clear on how to do this.
Basically, I would like to do it without having to use it (the audio) in a keymap.
Is this possible? If so (or not) let me know and I can respond with more info.
