Hey guys, I wondered if anyone has any definitive information about what is the best block size to choose when creating a RAID 0 (Striped) RAID to be exclusively for Audio. I may use the drive for sound libraries and DP audio files. The options range from 32k to 256k blocks. The thinking is that if you match the data block size to the type of data you're going to using the HD will not have unnecessary fragmentation or wasted data space.
Small block sizes are supposed to be good for databases etc, but for audio and video (especially video) large block sizes are good. I was going to pick 128k just to be hedge my bets. Any good advice? Thanks!

Not sure, but it could be true that matching the block size to your audio buffer might be a good idea... let us know what you discover on the topic.
