David:
I'm trying to figure out your exact computer model. You sig says "2.1Mhz"!
I know, it's Ghz-- but the only 2.1 G5 iMac I've found seems to take PC4200 and not PC2-5300, unless I'm mistaken.
In any case, here's the chip:

I just found something that says "for Late 2007 2.0GHz, 2.4GHz, and 2.8GHz models only"...

This may be a tough one. That 2.5GB may be the real max. I've checked the usual sources and have yet to find 1x4GB PC-4200 for iMac G5.

At some point in this quest I must realize the fact that I am a disenfranchised child of Apple again. Thanks for your help.Frodo wrote:This may be a tough one. That 2.5GB may be the real max. I've checked the usual sources and have yet to find 1x4GB PC-4200 for iMac G5.
