I'm booting from a couple of HDs for alternate OS's.
iLok means I don't have to reauthorize new stuff.

I used to hate 'em, but now I'm leaning toward the iLok camp.
All is well

davedempsey wrote:Yeah I'm in too. I don't really need more plugs, but this deal is too good to refuse. I really like my Vintage bundle so I'm sure the new plugs will be great too. I'll probably get a second computer for the studio next year and run the Integral on one and Mercury on the other so many thanks to Peter at Don't Crack and to Nomad for making this all happen. :D
FWIW: U can run the Nomads on BOTH computers!!!

Thanks for the iLok comments, y'all.

And yeah, these plugins are making everything sound healthier than ever. Presets are also very true to their name - snare works for snare. Imagine that! :)

1. The upgrade process went without a hitch. Uninstalled the previous version "in the blink of an eye" with the uninstaller; authorized my Mac for iLok. The iLok licensed arrived about 10 minutes later. :D The installation was very quick overall.

2. I'm very happy with the unbelievable price to value ratio of this bundle. Unbelievable price, unbelievable value.

The newer NF is simply amazing. I've never used hardware processors but have read that at times, certain processors were inserted just because of how they colored the sound even if there was no intent to apply compression or whatever. The British Bundle and the absolutely incredible sounding Pulse Tec seem to have that effect. Just insert them. Don't bother twiddling with the dials. (Just kidding. ) But seriously, just inserting them seems to automatically make an improvement to the sound.

And as a lover of VintageWarmer, my impression of AMT Multi Max is that it's a worthy alternative. Having both gives me options.

Many thanks to Peter for negotiating this deal.

Man I just got it going. Way to go Don't Crack. I sent Nomad a big thank you and for honoring our requests here. For all other companies take notice how well good customer service works. The word of mouth is always the best endorsement. A good product and good customer service is what these companies are all about. There may be many good products out there but without support we as customers are left feeling dissatisfied.

This has 100% been the best experience of support in all my years using computers and music 1986-2009.
Thanks

I bought the Producer Pack II bundle a couple weeks back but haven't yet installed or authorized it. What's the best way to proceed as far as buying this upgrade and getting all of the plugins installed and authorized??

Thanks,
dope

By clicking on the link, buying, downloading, installing and authorizing those babies.

Don't mix up the exact order. :)

[also, you should have a "PAK..." number with your original order. You'll need that. If you get lost in the process, talk to the man at Don't Crack.

Nomad recommends to uninstall the demos first and install the Nomad Bundle after authorisation HD and/or iLok. Otherwise ull have to authorise 47 plugs instead of only once...
It´s all written in the mail ull recieve after u buy the Nomad Bundle.

I've registered mine in NF.
I did my authorization via iLok ( Main Computer ).
I authorized my Macbook with challenge/response .
I will leave the 3rd for any emergency.

Hey Peter,

How's it going with the plugin sales? Are you getting as many orders as you'd hoped?

I was just looking on KVRAudio.com, and saw a long thread about last month's Producer Pack II deal, but I didn't see this current plugin offer announced over there. It would probably be a good idea to post the announcement there (if you haven't already). I would be happy to add some comments to such a thread if you can provide a link. :-)
