Any problems with proceeding with the order right now, Peter? Or should we wait until after midnight?
I also didn;t see where we are supposed to enter in the previous code?...
I believe that is after you have processed your order and are authorizing the plugins on your system and sending the code directly to Nomad Factory.

Ok, I'm done.

Here's basically how it goes, in case anyone is wondering:

1- Went to the DontCrack store and paid my bucks.
2- Got my digital ID.
3- Registered at Nomad iLok Registration Page.
4- Got an error code.
5- Clicked a link on the error page that took me to the validation page.
6- Entered my old Digital ID/Entered my new Digital ID.
7- Was validated.
8- Registered at the Nomad iLok 9- Registration Page again, this time no error.
10- Success... allow 24 hours for the iLok authorization to appear in my iLok account.

Note that it is handy to have the following information handy before you start this process:
  • 1- your don'tcrack registered email address and password
2- your old Digital ID Code (from the Producer's Pack II)
3- your new Digital ID Code (from the Integral Studio Upgrade) once you receive it
---The codes are in the format of ABC-0000-0000.
4- iLok username, email address and registration name. Login at https://www.ilok.com if you can't remember.
5- The more convenient this information is for you, the faster the whole process will go.

So, all that's left to do is to wait until I get the iLok auth, then download it into my iLok. Then the whole process is done.

One thing that is a little concern, though certainly not a big problem, is this set of contradictory instructions:
• Please fully authorize your machine or iLok USB key before installing the Integral Studio Pack, if the Integral Studio Pack is not authorized, you'll have to close the authorization window for each plug-in (47 times).

• To authorize your Nomad Factory "Integral Sudio Pack", simply download your preferred installer (if not already installed and running in demo mode). Once installed, simply authorize it via ilok or Challenge/Response from the Nomad Factory website. An "Authorizer Application" is located into the download package. Only ONE authorization is needed to authorize all 47 plugins :
Not sure I understand which way to go there. But I'm going to go ahead and install the Integral Pack to run in demo mode until the authorization code gets to my iLok account, and if I have to close 47 windows, then so be it. Maybe I'll understand more tomorrow.

Wow. While I was typing up that previous post, the iLok authorization came in. Very fast!

When I was authorizing at the iLok page, I almost made a big mistake. The downloaded authorization had a note beside it that said "authorization code surrender required", meaning it was going to erase the code for the Producer Pack II as it installed the code for the Integral Studio Upgrade. Beside that was a red sign that said "Delete." After clicking on the "surrender" note, it only told me that it was going to need for me to surrender that previous code. It didn't say how to go about doing that. So, I went back to the previous page and hit "Delete," thinking that since they were side-by-side, that meant that I should delete the previous code.

FORTUNATELY, I read the warning that came up, and realized that I was about to delete my new license! That would have been a mess. Thankfully, I was able to cancel that action.
I finished the download process to transfer my new code into my iLok, and it automatically deleted the previous code with no further input from me.

Moral of story, don't click on red signs that say DELETE!!! There's a reason why they put it in red!

You're a good fellow Shooshie. :-)

Thanks for laying that all out. I knew it was going to be fairly straight forward, but being able to review the process in your posts before actually proceeding was a comfort and made everything go very quickly and smoothly.

For any of you wondering about the "Digital ID", that is synonymous with "Serial Number" and the serial number is what you will get in the e-mail immediately following your order. And for many of us who ordered that Nomad Factory Bundle earlier this month, you will also need the serial number e-mailed to you on the day you placed that order.

And how about this... I just got my iLok license after submitting the request only 5 minutes ago, just before I began this message.

Oh yeah... and I finally received DP7 today and all is going well so far! :-)

I am tickled silly!!!

Hi Guys, I'm in!!!

I downloaded the file, paid my deuce  and I'm ready to install the pack.

Did you guys (owners of Producer Pack II) uninstalled the previous bundle as required by #2 of the confirmation email?

Guess so and let you know the progress.

Cheers

Hi guys,

I apologies for the delay announcing the opening of the promotion. I really had to leave the office last night...

So yes, both the "Integral Studio UPGRADE" at $149 and the full "Integral Studio Pack" at $398 are live.

Verification for the Upgrade Path IS done after purchase when authorizing from the Nomad Factory website. So please make sure you DO have one of the following bundle Activation code : "Integral Bundle" - "Studio Pro Bundle" - "Vintage Studio Bundle" - "Producer Pack Bundle". If you lost your previous bundle activation code, you may contact Nomad Factory from the this contact form and they will send it to you.

I hope I answered all questions. Please let me know if you do need further support.

And again, thanks to all of you that posted very useful information.

All the best - Peter

Hi Radiogal,

Yes it is highly recommanded that you uninstall any previous Nomad plugins prior to installing the new full pack. Here's what customer receives in their order confirmation email :

1- Please fully authorize your machine or iLok USB key before installing the Integral Studio Pack, if the Integral Studio Pack is not authorized, you'll have to close the authorization window for each plug-in (47 times).

2- All previous Nomad Factory Bundles MUST be uninstalled prior to installing the new Integral Studio Pack.

Hope that answers your thoughts

All that means, if I am not mistaken, is that you have to remove the previous plugins from your components folder. I just moved them into my "Removed Components" folder to be deleted later. Installation went without a hitch.

There is an uninstaller script that comes in the original folder with the installer. Boot the script, and it loads in Terminal. When you run it, it uninstalls the Producer Pack II instantly! So fast you think it didn't work. But it did. Swift little script, that!

I'm happy to say that all is well; the plugins are working. (at least, the ones I had loaded in my music beforehand are still working!)

Thanks again, Peter and Nomad Factory. To everyone else... get on with it! These guys are depending on us living up to our word. They did a nice thing for us; let's make it worth their while.

Done! Upgraded my G5 and laptop. It was too good a deal to pass up. Even if I only use 2 or 3 of the additional plugs, it'll be worth $149.

Anybody know what the All-Tech is? It's the yet-to-be-released plug that's included in the Integral Pack. Haven't seen a description at DontCrack or at Nomad's site. Peter?

This is THE ONE, the one that's missing from all of our lives. Once we have it, we'll wonder how we ever got along without it. Yup, whatever this is, we'll never be the same again once we have it in our possession.

On the other hand, it could also be an EQ.

:) :) :)
