DP5 & Mc Mix

Post by whoshivsagit »

I have en route an MC Mix. Am I OK with staying with DP5 (works great) or do I need to update to DP7 to avoid any problems?

I always get nervous when updating any software that has been working so well.

Like to ole saying...."if it works....don't fix it". :-)

Thanks!!!

I can't be sure, but I believe that native Eucon support came with DP 6? It may be that you would have to use the MCMix with Mackie Control protocol with DP5, so you would not be taking advantage of the benefits of speed, resolution and all the other benefits of Eucon.

Worth checking out.

kind regards

Correct, the EUCON native support didn't come until V6.
