Hi all
i have an intel MacBook 2ghz with 2gb RAM. One of the early ones!
Recently updated to OS10.6.1 with no real problems, but found DP5.13 wouldn't open so assumed it was a clash with 10.6. Used it as a reason to move up to v7.
However, v7 won't open either. Both go into opening screen and hang with spinning wheel and need to be force quit.
have since deleted 5.13 to see if that was problem, and deleted associated pref files (I think).
Still no joy.
My main machine is a more recent iMac running 10.5.7 and DP5.13 and I wanted to test out Snow Leopard and DP before updating my main machine.
Any ideas anyone?

DP 5.13 and 7.0 crash on launch os 10.6.1
iMac 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 3GB Ram, Snow Leopard, DP7.1, Reason 3.5, IK Amplitube 3 & compressors and stuff, Ultralite mk3, lovely partner, 2 kids, 2 cats and a vespa.

If you did not install Rosetta, re-load your install DVD and install it. I don't know about DP 7 but 5 cannot launch without Rosetta. Rosetta does not install automatically - it must be checked. The good news is that it can be installed after the fact; you do not have to reinstall OS 10.6.
If Rosetta is installed, trash your DP Preferences files for both versions and empty Trash. They will re-build when you launch.
Repair your permissions.
The apps need to be installed on your boot drive.

5.13 is working on osx 10.61 on a mac mini core 2 duo........
The software update asked me if I wanted to download rosetta, and that was it.

thanks guys, will give it a go. I thought 7 was snow leopard friendly tho
