Have been using an 828 MKiii for a while in a live situation, but never til now had to have it accept MIDI, was only playing it back from a multitrack app.
I have a MIDI cable with live MIDI streaming through it - when I plug it into any other MIDI in device - but I cannot get it to show up in the 828, for some reason. No MIDI activity light, no MIDI sent to my multitrack app (Nuendo 3 - MIDI track is set to read ANY MIDI channel.)
The MIDI setup menu on the 828 doesn't seems to exist, nor does there seems to be much you can do using CueMix or Audio console, in regards to adjusting MIDI settings.
I'm just not getting MIDI data accepted at the MIDI IN jack on the 828.
