Has anyone read or viewed "Mix it Like a Record" by Charles Dye. It looks good, but the he uses Pro Tools as the examples. I was wondering if anyone has looked at this and how it applied to using DP.

I saw an excerpt from it. I recall that one of his tricks is to put a tape saturation plug-in first on all tracks. That's about all I remember. And it had some flashy production / editing techniques that have nothing to do with mixing.
That DVD has been out for years now. It seems like there would be plenty of reviews on it by this point. So perhaps you can Google, and get some better advice from somebody who's actually watched the whole thing.
