Reset of UltraLite mk3?...

Post by frankmcma »

I have tried the reset on the unit via the menu..but it does not reset CueMix FX. What is the best way to reset both to defaults?

I tried file Load hardware preset #1 in the software...does this do it? Is there a reset in the software?

Also would like to know the reset on the MOTU Audio Setup program.

Thanks

The Reset Factory Defaults window at the end of the Setup menu does a full reset on the unit. All of the CueMix parameters, presets, and setup parameters will be set to default. When you connect the computer, CueMix FX and the control panel will reflect the changes.

Just found out after much trial and error that the only way to reset the track names seems to be to delete the folder called com.motu.firewireaudio from your ~/Library/Preferences directory.

This resets all the track names and some other data to factory defaults.
