Where to sell pair of vintage mics?

Here's where to talk about preamps, cables, microphones, monitors, etc.

Where to sell pair of vintage mics?

Post by baytonemus »

I'm a long-time participant on the MOTU-MAC list but not so much here. This seemed like a more appropriate place for this question, though. I want to be careful because I know that, on that list, only MOTU gear can be advertised for sale. I'm just looking for advice about what lists, auctions, etc, might be good places to try and sell a pair of vintage mics. I'm not sure Ebay is the right place for these particular mics.

Thanks - JAY

go to our website @ www.sweetwater.com and look at the bottom for TRADING POST (or something like that). This is 100% free and gets viewed a ton!
Thank you,

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'm going to start with the GearSlutz classifieds but may also post to some of the places you've listed.

What kind of mics are you selling BTW?
Creativity, some digital stuff and analogue things that go boom. crackle, bits of wood with strings on them that go twang

I've got two Sony C-38Bs. They're great mics, very versatile, but money's tight and I need some other gear more.

OK, maybe "need" is an overstatement...
