828 mk3 - 2408 mk3 Win7
Anyone have either of these working properly in Window 7 RC 64 bit. Looking for a replacement for my 828 mk2. Had a stable setup with the 828 mk2 FW running with Cubase 4 (64 bit version) Win 7 RC 64 on a Intel DX58SO motherboard (TI TSB43AB22A FW chipset), Core i7 920, Corsair DDR3 1600 Mhz, HIS Radeon 4890 and Motu driver 64fw-3.6.81410. No pops, no clicks or drop outs but the 828 recently bit the dust just keeps turning itself off and back on whether connected to the pc or not. Seems other manufacturers FW interfaces don't work with Win 7 RC 64. Going back to XP is such a set backwards IMO. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

The simplest answer would be to check the fuse in your 828mkII. You might not need a new interface.
The leading cause of wrong answers is asking the wrong questions.

Good suggestion, I didn't even know it had a replaceable fuse. But unfortunately, the fuse checks out ok probably the power supply is bad.

Check the power cord.

Thanks guys. yeah I changed the power cord and like magic it's working normal again. Strange tho, oh well back to recording.
