Hard to believe Altiverb could be trouble, what with the amazing DP support Audio Ease provides.I suppose anything is possible.

I see from your sig that you have a MOTU audio interface. If so, then are you aware that you
can do real-time mixdowns by going to CueMix control panel and checking "Mix 1 mirrors
computer output"? Then add "Mix 1-2" as a bus in your project, create a Stereo track, and
set its input to "Mix 1-2". Then just record your mix in real-time to that stereo track.
(Don't play back the resulting track along with your other tracks, of course).

The newly recorded stereo mix can be exported as a soundbite to a folder on your
desktop or any drive and imported into the audio editing program of your choie,
such as Peak.

I haven't used Bounce-To-Disk in three years. Real-time mix recording sounds better, too.
And not just incrementally - it's a big difference.

Furthermore, you don't even have to create audio tracks of the output of VI's if you
use the real-time pass method of recording your mix.

Gee Dave, I do Real-Time Mixing as you describe, too. Works great, and also allows one to combine external MIDI instruments in the mix.
