Ultralite and Win7

Post by faronatx »

I have not had success installing my drivers (3.6.8.1410 driver) in Win7. The UL worked great in WinXP and Vista. When I try to play anything that has audio my UL will start a loud buzzing sound and the output bars from 3 to 8 spike but the 1 and 2 seem to not be affected. I can hear the sound but it is drowned out by the rest of the channels. I am running an HP DV8000 quad with only the UL attached to it. I did install the drivers in Vista mode and reinstalled them without selecting a mode. Any ideas?
Thanks
Faron

Having major issues here as well. I have tried to get the Ultralite working with both the 32bit and 64bit versions of Windows 7, and am running out of ideas. All attempts have been made from fresh OS installs, using the legacy firewire drivers for my TI expresscard. UAC is off, and I attempted every available compatability install I could (Vista, Vista sp1 & Vista sp2 - even XP & older drivers). Has ANYONE gotten an original ultralite working under Windows 7?

My Ultralite Mk3 installed without a hitch on Win7 RC 7100 x64. It has run smoothly except for 1 random blue screen (in 2 weeks of use) that referenced the MOTU drivers, but that's acceptable for a beta OS.

try the new drivers just released. installed them without using compatability mode and everything seems to be working ok (still the occasional dropout, altho switching off my wireless card does the trick...just a pain if i want to listen to audio and go on the net). i was also having the same prob as described in ur first post. the drivers would install ok, the motu control panal would work, but my pc would not display the soundcard in the audio properties. the new drivers seem to fix this.
