Patches that make use of features?

Hi,
I'm interested in checking out some patches that make use of filters,topology,envelopes,lfo's,etc.. Are there Patches that have synthesis built in+with samples,are these available in Mach Five 2,or does one have to build them each time from scratch? I'm trying to understand how to build these myself,any good tutorials available?
