I am having a bit of random trouble with DP loading up. What has been happening (with no changes in configuration) is that the MAS will load all of the plug-ins and then hang on the last one (alphabetically) and then after about 20 seconds, tell me that the audio hardware did not respond.
The two options--Hardware and Studio Setup--both show my Alesis interface as the selected hardware.
I have also double checked all of the rest of the audio/interface related settings to no avail.
The worst thing is that this problem has simply gone away on me twice (with several restarts) which makes finding the solution that much more frustrating.
Do I need to just re-install DP or does anyone know of another alternative?

Re: MAS fails to load
There may be a conflict with one of your AU plugins.
Try loading DP without any AU plugs. See if it loads ok..
If it does then gradually add your AU plugs back in until the problem re-emerges.. Try to flush out the troublesome plugin.
If it doesn't load properly without the AU plugs, then try all the usual things like trashing preferences, repairing permissions, etc..
Reinstalling should be a last resort.

Re: MAS fails to load
Thanks for the suggestions....it seems that it came down to an interrupt conflict based on where my interface and ilok were plugged in.
By switching around where I plugged-in these USB and fw devices, I solved the problem.
