Since upgrading to a new intel Mac Pro, If I have 3 glyph drives turned on, every time I open a project or even add a plugin to a track DP starts looking on all the drives attached via firewire. I'm not even sure what it's looking for. It's slowing everything down to a crawl.
The drives are not Raid. Just standard Glyph GT drives.
Anyone have a suggestion where to look, and what to do?

What do you mean by "looking"? What's DP doing? Does it show a message? Open a dialog box? Do you know that the new Mac is not trying to index the Glyphs for Spotlight -- is that turned off?Mountainfeverstudios wrote:Since upgrading to a new intel Mac Pro, If I have 3 glyph drives turned on, every time I open a project or even add a plugin to a track DP starts looking on all the drives attached via firewire.
