able to import AIFF SDII MP3 on the fly?

Hi mates,

I'm looking into getting a software sampler that can load AIFF, SD2 or MP3 files easily, plus the ability to set up different keys for different imported audio files.

Application is for Sound Design work, so maybe i'll have a key that maps Footsteps, another for Whooshes, and maybe an octave for a single whoosh but in different keys (auto stretched / pitched by the Sampler)

Is Mach5 capable of this?

In one word - yes. I import AIF files all the time into Machfive, and map samples across my MIDI controller thru Machfive.
