Sorry, not tried it in DP but have this working fine with Cubase SX 3. I should have some time over the next two weeks to try it in DP though and will let you know. It was easy in the SX but there are presets on both the 01V96 and in SX so its just a case a few clicks.

In theory its possible with any but I imagine a hold load of configuration unless there are presets available for DP and 01V96. Please anyone watching let me know if there are any before I go nuts for nothing!

I'll post here how I get on later..

What I really would like to do is control effects/synth parameters with the 01V96 faders.. Being able to control the internal mixer in a DAW when you have an external one is not amazingly helpful so far..

ok, not as intuitive as it should be but after yoou do this:

http://www.motu.com/techsupport/technot ... earchterm=

you got to the Control Surface Setup under the Setup menu and select HUI as the driver and the MIDI channel from the device you just created. then, what I did was go to the USER DEF tab of the UTILITY menu on the 01V96 and started assigning DP commands to the user defined keys.

so far I've tryed out: stop, play, rew, ff, rec, rec enable, scrub, and it al works fine, it't rather cool actually

hope I was any help...
