Reverb on the 896mk3
Is it just me or is the onboard reverb not available at a 96khz setting through CueMix on the 896mk3? Trying to give the boys some reverb through the vocal monitors but we record off the floor at 96khz. Am I missing something?

Re: Reverb on the 896mk3
Hi:
That's a good question!
I think it's only possibe to use the effects of CueMix FX with 48 kHz being the highest sample rate Cuemix FX effects can be used with.
I have the UltraLite-mk3, and the manual doesn't particularly say 48 kHz is the highest sample rate that can be used with effects, but it says my unit "has enough DSP resources for at least one band of Parametric EQ and Compression on every channel at 48 kHz."
I found this on the 1st page of the chapter titled CueMix FX. Maybe you can look at the CueMix FX chapter in your manual and see what it says.
When I tried using 96 kHz I got a BSOD.
I had to find and use the 3.6.8.1394 driver instead of the 3.6.8.1400 driver because the new driver has ASIO routing issues and no S'PDIF output when I tried using it.

Re: Reverb on the 896mk3
Hmm .. well that sucks! At 96khz I get a message in the window "Reverb only available at 1x sample rates." When I switch it to 48khz I get normal reverb window then BSOD about a minute later. Only thing is that I have lots of hard drives so we record everything in 96khz (16x 24bit/96khz) All I'm looking to do with it is to give the 2 vocal mics and the snare some reverb for monitoring purposes, nothing more. I'm going to be using the SPDIF IN for a tube mic preamp within the next couple weeks ("ART Digital MPA II" i think) but do you think that there might be some inexpensive solution using the AES/EBU connectors?
BTW. If this is indeed a shortcoming with the 896mk3, it'll be the first one I've found; otherwise I love the unit!
