DP au search
Hello all.Here is the deal,I need to load machfive as au instead of mas. But there is already a au version in the plug-in folder,how do I get DP to au search again? any help would be very gratefull.

Remove or trash the following file: user/Library/Preferences/Digital Performer/Audio Unit Info Cache
Then start up DP - it will scan your components folder again.
You will also need to remove the MAS version of MachFive from the MAS plug-in folder (and i.e. hide it in your Documents folder or something), otherwise DP will always pick the MAS over the AU.
Any particular reason you want to use the AU version? MAS works great here.

User Library > Preferences > Digital Performer™ > Audio Unit Info Cache

I think if you just remove the MAS bundle, DP will scan/cache the AU version the next time you boot (won't it?).
Oh, well. I guess if it doesn't, removing the AU Info Cache is always a good idea.

Tried it,it still won't recognize the AU Version.any idea what might be wrong?

Mach V will only load as MAS in DP. The AU version is for other non MAS hosts such as Logic or Ableton Live.
